DOROTHY CAMPBELL

Born in 1883, her impact on the sport lies not only in her impressive skills on the course, but also in her significant contribution to the evolution of women’s golf at a time when women faced numerous challenges to excel in the sport.

The Scot was the first female player to dominate international golf, between 1905 and 1912, when she won 10 national championships in America, England, Scotland and Canada, and 12 years later, she won the US Open once again.

MARTA FIGUERAS-DOTTI

Marta, the pioneer of Spanish women’s golf and current president of the European Tour.

Born in Madrid in 1957, the golfer has had an impressive sporting career. She competed at international level and won several tournaments throughout her career, standing out on the Ladies European Tour. Her ability on the course led her to represent Spain in international competitions, being a talented ambassador for this country. Now, she is a mentor and leader in this wonderful sport.

BABE ZAHARIAS

Babe Zaharias came into the world in 1914 in Texas with the name of Mildred Didrikson.

She is considered one of the greatest sportswomen of all time in various disciplines. In the world of golf, she was one of the most dominant of her time. She won numerous major championships, including the U.S. Women’s Open three times. Her skill on the course, competitive approach and charisma made her an unstoppable force in women’s golf and contributed significantly to her popularity.

LORENA OCHOA REYES

Born in 1981 in Guadalajara, Mexico, Lorena is one of the most important golfers in history for her sporting achievements and her philanthropic work with her Foundation, although she retired a little prematurely in 2010, she has remained a very influential woman.

Proclaimed world number one in the women’s golf rankings for 158 consecutive weeks, she also won 27 LPGA Tour tournaments, including two Majors, demonstrating exceptional consistency and skill in high-level competition.
